The women of the PRIDE program need toiletries and women's business clothing. If you are able to donate items, call 612-728-2080. About 90% of women and children that get involved in prostitution have been physically or sexually abused. We are trying to help stop this cycle of violence.

PRIDE

PRIDE (from PRostitution to Independence, Dignity and Equality) is a nationally recognized and highly successful program to help women get out, and stay out, of prostitution. PRIDE is based on self-help, advocacy and support for women. We also offer outreach and assistance to the children of prostitution victims. Outreach, court advocacy, community presentations and services occur at the Family & Children's Service
Lake Street Branch, in jails, correctional facilities, district courts, and other agencies.  For information on sexual exploitation of children and teens, visit TeenPRIDE.

If you need help getting out of prostitution or would like more information, contact the PRIDE Program Supervisor, Artika Roller at 612-728-2080 or at artika.roller@fcsmn.org.
